Emily and Elliott’s wedding at Kelmarsh Hall

Wow! What a fabulous day yesterday was as Emily and Elliott were married at Kelmarsh Hall.

They had some unique touches, and some firsts at a wedding for us; a spectacular arrival by the groom (on the back of an American army troop carrier with some of his guests), entertainment by the Market Harborough Ukulele Group, fabulous Indian food, and a fly past by a Vulcan bomber! Okay, the last one might have been purely coincidental, but spectacular non the less.

We started with Emily and her bridal party at Church Farm Lodge for their preparations, before leaving to catch Elliott’s arrival at Kelmarsh. A lovely ceremony followed, with a very personal reading from bridesmaid Emma, before drinks and photos led to their sumptuous Indian wedding breakfast (the Gulab Jamal syrupy doughnuts were something else :) ).

We got out around the lovely Kelmarsh gardens with Emily and Elliott after their wedding breakfast before they all donned flip flops for the dance floor.

And all expertly marshalled by toastmaster extraordinaire, Alan Hodge.

A fabulous day. Many congratulations Emily and Elliott!
